🌿 Where Cupuaçu Comes From

Cupuaçu (koo-poo-ah-SOO) comes from the lush rainforests of the Brazilian Amazon, where it grows on a tree related to cacao. Indigenous communities have used its rich, creamy seed fat for generations to soften skin, protect against harsh climates, and retain moisture in both extreme humidity and dryness.

The fruit itself is considered a superfood in the Amazon — and the butter is often described as the rainforest’s answer to shea butter, but with significantly greater water-binding power.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This face butter is rich in Resin infusions and over time the copal and frankincense oils may pool to the top or bottom of the jar. This is natural and makes it look pretty in my opinion =).
